Nanaimo Harbour City Marina

Nanaimo Harbour City Marina has 125 berths both open and boathouses located on Newcastle Channel. This is one of the most protected sites in Nanaimo from seasonal weather and wave action. Berths range from 20 to 60 feet and has new boat houses from 36 to 72 feet. The majority of berths are arranged into the wind to minimize windage thus reducing wear and tear on your vessel with good turning radii between piers. Our docks are lighted and secure. Proximity to the Departure Bay Ferry Terminal, several Sea Plane Terminals and Bus transportation makes access to this marina very convenient. We have ample parking for your vehicle also. There is limited liveaboard accommodation.

This boatyard has two Travelifts, a 70 Ton and a 30 Ton. We lift vessels that range in size from 20 feet to 60 plus feet. The types of vessels serviced include pleasure, commercial and industrial boats. Skilled labour is available or you can do-it-yourself. For boaters convenience there is a chandlery on the premises. For unusual items we offer overnight delivery. This boatyard operates twelve months of the year and 24 hour emergency haul out service. Our clients include private boat owners, Boat Charter companies, Insurance clients and commercial boaters of all kinds.

This marina is owned and operated by Ron & Susan Mielke.  We have managed the marina for sixteen years and are members of the B.C.Marine Trades Association, Tourism Nanaimo and the Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce.  We offer friendly experienced service and are familiar with boaters' needs.  We have been serving Vancouver Island and the Pacific Northwest mariners with "1" Stop Yacht and Commercial vessel owners services.  This marina has permanent moorage, boat brokerage, gas & diesel repairs, chandler and marine dealership sales.
